Cathy Kelleher graduated from the Shellharbour School of Dental Therapy in 1982 and has built a wealth of experience through positions in both NSW and Queensland. Her role at the Dental Centre is to build confidence and trust in our younger patients so that their early dental experiences are positive.
Commencing work in Coffs Harbour with the North Coast Area Health Service in 1988, Cathy has developed a vast knowledge and understanding of the oral health needs of children in our community. Cathy’s care for these patients includes examinations, x-rays, fluoride treatments, scales and polishes, fissure sealants, various restorative treatments and extractions. She works closely with paediatric dental specialists from Westmead in more complex cases.
Cathy has been an integral member of the Dental Centre Team since 2008. She has developed an interest in treating special needs children and creating an experience and environment to help these children become comfortable in the dental environment.
Through continuing education she has developed an interest in assisting Dr Scott Geddes in treating our orthodontics patients.
